How I Create Handmade Fantasy Fashion with Love and Passion

I'm Corinne, a girl with too many dreams in the drawer and a thousand new ideas every day. But above all, I’m the founder – and for now, the only member – of this brand: The Raven’s Goddess.

This project was born out of two main things, both a bit desperate:

• Never finding clothes I liked, that made me feel comfortable and truly represented who I am;
• Working for someone else (and yes, we all know the issues that come with that).

I didn’t attend any fashion schools or take official tailoring courses. I learned to sew thanks to a dear friend, Fabio, a professional pattern maker and tailor. Let’s just say we crammed three years of schooling into four weeks. I’d call it "intensive training"!

Then came the real part: practice, mistakes, long nights failing and trying again. And I’m still learning, challenging myself, and creating every single day. And yes, I’d say I’m doing pretty well by now, wouldn’t you?

How the Brand Was Born

  What started as a personal hobby became       something much more: a way to help other       women feel good in their own skin, through   clothing that truly reflects who they are. I opened   my first Etsy shop (under a different name), but   eventually closed it due to high costs – for me   and for my customers.

 In the meantime, I participated in a fashion event   for emerging designers during Milan Fashion   Week. I even got featured in some of the top   magazines in the industry… but I realized that world wasn’t for me. Too fake, too polished. I wanted to create fashion for real people.

What I Do Today

That’s how my Shopify store was born. Sales started to come in – slowly but surely. I now focus mainly on custom-made, one-of-a-kind pieces, impossible to replicate – just like the women who wear them. From time to time, I also launch mini collections at the most affordable prices I can manage, and they often sell out before they even hit the website.
